                                                                       Improve Your Emotional Regulation

Education and guided demonstration of various modes of relaxation/stress response regulation, including the following:

 

  • guided imagery, systematic relaxation, autogenic relaxation, mindfulness and centering prayer

 

  • biofeedback to improve mind-body regulation (thermal, heart-rate-variability)

 

  • Improved self-soothing and self-nurturing

 

  • Education and demonstration of techniques for dealing with relational, environmental or historical issues, making way for a healthier approach to food and fitness

 

  • Improving optimistic thinking / cognitive skills

 

  • Communication skills

 

  • Skills in conflict resolution

  • Developing a sustaining social network

 

  • Encouraging a creative approach to old issues


                                                                            Improving Your Eating Behavior

 

Develop a healthy approach to food and clarify and remove barriers to that goal:

​

  • Guided self-observation of eating behavior

 

  • Problems solving with group support and coaching

 

  • Education and guided experience of mindful eating


                                                                               Improve Your Physical Fitness

​

Establish regular pattern of exercise and fit habits:

​

  • group support, education, and coaching 

 

  • Organized liaison such as a physical therapist, exercise coach and a certified nutritional counselor for additional treatment, education or coaching in nutrition and fitness.
