Waiting Room

Are you taking new patients?

At this time, I am focusing my practice on psychotherapy and on neurofeedback and biofeedback for stress-related conditions or optimum performance or wellness reasons.    I also accept patients desiring psychiatric consultation to assist their practitioners who are prescribing medications or therapy.

Due to the COVID pandemic, our office was able to continue by using tele-sessions and remote (home based) neurofeedback and biofeedback training.  We are again seeing patients in person, utilizing a variety of options in order to continue to optimize ventilation.  I retrofitted my waiting room to accommodate social distancing and ventilation needs for neurofeedback through a viewing window as needed.  Currently patients wait in their car instead of utilizing an inside waiting room.

That said, my practice for psychopharmacology ongoing and psychotherapy ongoing is near capacity.  I am accepting individuals for neurofeedback and biofeedback.   When I do that, I do provide psychiatric consultation as needed for the primary care providers or other physicians/psychiatrists who are managing psychiatric medications.  If desired, I will provide feedback to mental health therapists / primary psychiatric providers managing the overall treatment. In other words, the NF/BF are adjunctive/personalized, but your other providers may be handling the meds and sometimes the psychotherapy.

I also provide psychiatric consultation for patients not seeking NF or BF.  To complete that consultation may require more than one visit to fully evaluate and provide my perspective and recommendations.

In summary:  I have very limited ability to take on new patients for ongoing med mgmt and psychotherapy.  I am accepting patients for neurofeedback, as my tech can help assess and deliver the regular treatments and assist in remote training.
